Presenters: Carolyn Costin serves as the primary presenter for the continuing education programs offered through Community Counseling.  Occasionally there may be other professionals who will present topics in their area of knowledge and expertise.

Target Audience: Our courses are intended for all health and mental health providers, educators, and researchers interested in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders or related conditions.

Course Completion: Participants will receive a certificate of completion after paying for the course, completing the course evaluation, and passing the course quiz with a score of 85% or higher. All steps need to be completed in order to earn full course credit. No partial credit available. Courses must be completed within 90 days of registration. A student is considered “registered” after paying for the course. After 90 days, students will no longer have access to course material, whether he/she has completed the course or not.

Certificates of Completion:

For live events, certificates of completion are distributed upon completion of the full program and given to individuals who complete the sign-in/out documents and turn in the evaluation. If for any reason certificates of completion are unable to be provided after the completion of the course, a certificate will be mailed to the participant. Certificates of completion will be provided within 30 days of the course date.

For online (home study) events, certificates of completion are automatically generated after participants pay the course fee (if applicable), complete the course and course evaluation, and pass the course quiz with a score of 85% or higher. If participants are unable to download and print the certificate for any reason, the operations administrator will fax or mail a copy to the participants upon request.

For online (home study) courses, you can attempt the course quiz up to 5 times over a 4-week period. After you pass the quiz, you will be able to print out a certificate of completion as evidence you completed the course.  After passing the course (or exceeding the maximum number of attempts), you will no longer have access to the course.

If you have difficulty downloading and printing your certificate, please email the Operations Administrator at Jeanette@CarolynCostin.com in order to request a copy be mailed or faxed.

Verifying Attendance:

For live events, in order to receive continuing education credit(s), participants need to fully complete the sign-in sheet by providing their name, contact information, and license type and number (if applicable) and indicating if CE credits are desired. Participants must also sign out at the end of the course in order to receive continuing education credits.

For online (home study) courses, participants are required to use a secure log-in to access online course content. Participants are required to complete course components in a fixed order and are unable to skip modules. To take the course quiz or fill out the program evaluation, participants need to view all course material.
